Ken
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Ken Mulliken, born and raised in Independence and a Truman High School graduate, brings deep local roots and decades of professional experience to Kansas City Draw Inspections LLC. His family has been part of the Independence community since 1918.Before co-founding KCDI, Ken spent 25 years as a university professor focused on research, documentation, and clear reporting—skills he applies to detailed draw inspections and construction-progress documentation.
Known for attention to detail, accountability, and ethics, Ken emphasizes objective, timely, transparent inspections so lenders and investors receive reliable information for construction lending decisions.
He lives in Independence with his wife, Wendy. Their daughter, Stephanie, is the principal at Spring Branch Elementary; their grandchildren, Evan and Shaylen, also live locally. Based in Eastern Jackson County, Ken stays closely connected to the regional construction and lending network while serving the greater Kansas City metro.d

Jason
Co-Founder & Director of Field Operations
Jason Garrison serves as Co-Founder and leads field operations for Kansas City Draw Inspections LLC, conducting on-site inspections that verify construction progress for lenders, investors, and developers throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. His work focuses on providing accurate, independent assessments that confirm completed work and support responsible construction lending decisions.
Jason currently lives in Independence, Missouri with his wife, their two teenage children, and their dogs—Aspen, a five-year-old black lab, and Roxy, their senior dog. Outside of work he enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, canoeing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and pursuing a growing passion for disc golf.
